Yacht Tracking Service to Debut at the 2010 Miami Boat Show
gplink, a new yacht tracking and remote engine monitoring tool will announce their initial product launch at this coming week’s Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail events. Initially rolling out to “Hatteras Collection” (Hatteras & Cabo) yacht owners, the service seeks to fill a primary need of modern yacht owners and captains; the ability to remotely track, monitor, communicate, and diagnose yacht assets without the need for a physical presence on the vessel.
With several other yacht tracking services already in this space, gplink seeks to provide unparalled integration with Cat® engine electronics and diagnostics. All gplink plan offerings will also overlap Concierge services which have been successfully provided by a network of authorized Cat® Marine providers for a number of years now. The end-vision is the creation of a truly, fully managed maintenance & service experience for enrolled Cat® engine owners.
Interest among Hatteras & Cabo owners is expected to be strong, and installation and support for any other yachts powered by Cat® engines is will be rolled out shortly.
