Gulf Coast Hatteras, Milton Cat, Ransome Cat & Saunders Yachtworks Now Offer Remote Satellite Service & Protection
Cat® Marine Power customers from New England to the Gulf Coast of the U.S. now have more convenient access to the gplink® real-time vessel monitoring and support system thanks to reseller agreements recently signed with Gulf Coast Hatteras, Milton Cat, Ransome Cat & Saunders Yachtworks. As Caterpillar Marine dealers and Authorized Cat Service Centers, becoming gplink® resellers will strengthen customer relationships by helping to protect and maximize the ROI for their engine assets.
“This latest round of reseller sign-ons demonstrates our commitment to both the recreational and commercial boating markets by providing them with local installation access to our world-wide gplink® coverage, commented gplink’s Business Development Manager, Dan Webb. “Demand for our location tracking and on-demand diagnostics has risen substantially with the ever-increasing cost of fuel and down-time being more costly than ever. We are thrilled to have long-standing Caterpillar affiliates help us meet this demand and make boating a wise investment on every level.”

This Viking Yacht 50C is a demonstration boat built by ZF to showcase the new ZF POD 4000 Drive System. This new propulsion system is suitable for large yachts powered by engines up to 1200 hp and comprises a standard transmission mounted to a steerable pod unit with twin, counter-rotating propellers. The gplink hardware was installed at the Viking factory in cooperation with Ransome Caterpillar, our authorized dealer for New Jersey.
