We invite you to join us at the 53rd Annual Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 25-29. This years boat show covers over 3 million square feet of space, showcasing boats, seminars and exhibitors. This is one of the largest shows on the East Coast, and we are excited to be a part of it.
You will find gplink located in the Caterpillar display area, Engine Tent 1213-1214. Stop by and see our informative slideshow at the gplink kiosk (and if you get there early enough you may just find some neat items to take home with you).

Gregory Poole Marine Manager Dan Webb recently worked with Hatteras & Cabo Yachts to make gplink® a standard piece of equipment installed on every Cat® powered yacht built at their factory. Customers placing new orders will now receive the gplink real-time vessel monitoring and support system on their vessel.
Offering the convenience of in-house installation at the New Bern manufacturing plant, Hatteras & Cabo customers can now pursue boating adventures with confidence from their very first launch, affording more time to enjoy their boats and less time worrying about them. Owners, families and captains find themselves more relaxed, both on board and away from their vessel, because the gplink product monitors systems in real time, with around the clock support and notification included. Maintenance logs, which are archived by the system, also greatly increase Hatteras & Cabo resale values and owners of vessels using the gplink system are afforded discounted insurance rates by ACE® Insurance.

gplink vessel monitoring will have several ways for the public to learn more about our unique boat tracking service this week at both the Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht & Brokerage Show. We will have information kiosks in Caterpillar Marine’s booths at both venues, as well as representation on the Hatteras barge thanks to our friends at Hatteras Yachts & CABO Yachts. gplink, a new yacht tracking and remote engine monitoring tool will announce their initial product launch at this coming week’s Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail events. Initially rolling out to “Hatteras Collection” (Hatteras & Cabo) yacht owners, the service seeks to fill a primary need of modern yacht owners and captains; the ability to remotely track, monitor, communicate, and diagnose yacht assets without the need for a physical presence on the vessel.
With several other yacht tracking services already in this space, gplink seeks to provide unparalled integration with Cat® engine electronics and diagnostics. All gplink plan offerings will also overlap Concierge services which have been successfully provided by a network of authorized Cat® Marine providers for a number of years now. The end-vision is the creation of a truly, fully managed maintenance & service experience for enrolled Cat® engine owners.
Interest among Hatteras & Cabo owners is expected to be strong, and installation and support for any other yachts powered by Cat® engines is will be rolled out shortly.
gplink personnel will be present throughout the Miami Show on the Hatteras Collection barge, and we hope to see you there!
