We invite you to join us at the 53rd Annual Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, October 25-29. This years boat show covers over 3 million square feet of space, showcasing boats, seminars and exhibitors. This is one of the largest shows on the East Coast, and we are excited to be a part of it.
You will find gplink located in the Caterpillar display area, Engine Tent 1213-1214. Stop by and see our informative slideshow at the gplink kiosk (and if you get there early enough you may just find some neat items to take home with you).

The response to our service was very enthusiastic at the Miami International Boat Show, and as such we have a lot of plans to implement subsequent phases of the gplink service. We’re doing our best to listen to initial feedback and plan our offerings based on the needs we have perceived in the marketplace. One of the areas where we are prepared to leap ahead of the competition is the deep integration of our monitoring service to the electronic & mechanical systems of your Cat® engines.
Superior to it’s competitors, gplink yacht monitoring and diagnostics boasts a web-based interface offering much more than GPS coordinates and “geo-fence” features. We are actively developing the owner control panel to offer fleet views, alerts, reports, Google Maps mash-ups of current locations and past routes, and a robust package of real-time engine and core systems statistics. These critical engine data points include near-real-time read outs of:
- battery levels
- engine RPM
- oil pressure
- coolant temperature
- fuel burn
All of which we feel our invaluable tools to owners looking to remotely monitor their yacht’s current operation & status. One of the truly great things about developing a software-as-a-service company, is there really is no ceiling on the additional features and benefits we can roll out over the course of our customers’ subscriptions to gplink, and we plan to take full advantage of that strategy.

As we approach the initial gplink debut at the Miami Boat Show, we’re pleased to announce the installation and addition of our tracking systems to several more yachts up and down the Eastern seaboard.
It is our hope to have a veritable fleet of gplink installs to demo to Hatteras Collection owners in Miami, as we have seized on the opportunity to install the system on several 68′ Hatteras Convertibles, in addition to the initial 60′ Motoryacht installation. It’s our intention to have several boats fishing the Gulf Stream, showcasing the tracking & engine data capabilities while we present our service to Hatteras executives and prospects back at the Show docks.
We’re very excited about the quick progress of the service and our ability to showcase our technologies to the marine industry. See you in Miami!
