gplink is proud to announce the development of collision & incident reporting. While still in its infancy, it will work like this:
Your gplink unit will take a snapshot numerous times each minute of significant shipboard data. In the event of a collision, the box will instantly upload a detailed report of engine codes (such as gear position, speed, rpms and other information) which will assist in determining the root cause of the incident.
The box can hold up to 80 hours of the most recent “in motion” data. This report will be automatically emailed in a spreadsheet format to the vessel owner/manager or their designees. This feature is being added as a result of a request made by a fleet owner of our Alban Cat® dealer.
